Sandro Ely de Souza Pinto

Associate Professor, Physics, Universidade Estadual de Ponta Grossa (UEPG)

Sandro holds a bachelor's degree in Physics from the State University of Ponta Grossa (1996), a Ph.D. in Physics from the Federal University of Paraná (2000) and a Ph.D. in Physics from the Federal University of Paraná (2003). He was a Visiting Researcher in the Department and Mathematics of the State University of Ponta Grossa in the years 2004 2 2005. In 2006 he held a postdoctoral degree at the University of São Paulo.

From 2006 until the present day, he is a professor of the Department of Physics of the State University of Ponta Grossa. He is in the position of Associate Professor. In the years 2013 and 2014, he did postdoctoral studies at the University of Aberdeen. He has experience in Physics, with emphasis on Synchronization, working mainly on the following topics: chaos, synchronization, coupled map networks, the variability of the unstable dimension and shading, and complex networks.
