Sara Koopman is a feminist political geographer who researches peace and international solidarity movements, with a focus on Colombia. She is currently a researcher at the Tampere Peace Research Institute, in Finland, and will be starting in the fall as an Assistant Professor in Peace Studies at Kent State University in the United States.
