Visiting Research Fellow, University of Leeds

Sarah is currently a Principal Scientist on the Climate Projections & Services team at the Department of Environment and Science, Queensland. She is also a visiting Research Fellow with the University of Leeds, UK, where
she completed her post-doc.

Her post-doctoral research was with the Institute for Climate and Atmospheric Sciences (ICAS) at the University of Leeds. She worked on the AFRICAP project involving climate change and agriculture in East Africa, using a convection-permitting model applied to present-day and future climates. She also worked on the CHAMNHA project, looking at the impact of climate change on infant mortality.

She completed her PhD at the University of Queensland, Australia. There she studied the impact of climate change and urban growth on the urban heat island and heat stress.
