My research focuses on the use of new technologies and data science to explore classroom practice and teacher change, specifically related to technology adoption and integration in learning. I have a particular research focus on cultural and individual factors of teachers’ digital technology use, change process and underlying principles of teaching and learning. Current major projects include a study of teachers’ transitions to online/remote teaching as a result of COVID-19, exploring teaching in flexible learning spaces and creating data and video mining methods to study combined digital and physical spaces in blended/hybrid learning.
