Sarah E Sharma is a Vanier Scholar in International Relations in the Department of Political Studies at Queen’s University. Her research and teaching interests lay at the intersection of global political economy, environmental governance, urban development, and the international financial system. Previously, Sarah was a Visiting Research Fellow at the International Centre for Climate Change and Development (ICCCAD) at the Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB), in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and a Visiting PhD Scholar at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration, in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Sarah received her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Global Development Studies from Queen’s University and her Master’s in International Political Economy from the University of Manchester.
