Bertalli Chair in Cancer Medicine and Director of Research for the Centre for Cancer Research, The University of Melbourne

Professor Sean Grimmond holds the Bertalli Chair in Cancer Medicine and is Director of Research for the University of Melbourne’s new Centre for Cancer Research, to be located in the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre when it opens mid-2016.

Prior to that appointment, he was the Director of the Queensland Centre for Medical Genomics at The University of Queensland's Institute for Molecular Bioscience. He leads Australia's effort into the study of pancreatic and ovarian cancer as part of the International Cancer Genome Consortium (www.icgc.org).
