Sean is presently a systematic reviewer for Kleijnen Systematic Reviews.
Previously, Sean worked as a senior research associate at the University of Bristol, working in the Medical Research Council (MRC) Integrative Epidemiology Unit (IEU). His work focused on the Health Foundation’s project entitled ‘social and economic consequences of health: causal inference methods and longitudinal, intergenerational data’, which is part of the Health Foundation’s Social and Economic Value of Health Programme.
His PhD aimed to systematically find an individual characteristic (e.g. age, height, ethnicity etc.) that was associated with both prostate cancer and prostate-specific antigen (PSA), to see whether we could improve PSA testing for prostate cancer.
