Sean Maxwell is a Postdoctoral fellow in the Green Fire Science lab at the University of Queensland. He studies dynamic threats to species and ecosystems of conservation concern, which involve exploring how changes in economic and social factors can contribute to deforestation in protected areas, planning for human responses to climate change, and conserving threatened species in dynamic agricultural landscapes.
