Sebastian Bustamante-Brauning is a South West & Wales Doctoral Training Partnership funded PhD student at the University of Bristol & University of Exeter looking at digital memory spaces in Latin America. Sebastian holds an MA (distinction) in Art History and Theory and a BA in Latin American Studies from the University of Essex and has recently worked as the Assistant Director of the Essex Collection of Art from Latin America where he taught, researched and lectured on art, politics and the history of Latin America as well as curated displays and organised interdisciplinary symposia, events and learning sessions. Sebastian research interests include photography, art, digital heritage, human rights and memory in Latin America and the interstice between these areas.
