Professor of Supply Chain Management, RMIT University

Dr Shams Rahman is a Professor of Supply Chain Management at the College of Business and Law, RMIT University. A former British Commonwealth scholar, who has worked for several top-ranked universities in Australia, United Kingdom, and Thailand. He is dedicated to interdisciplinary research and education, and integrated approaches to defining and unravelling supply chain sustainability challenges and societal concerns.

Professor Shams Rahman is an Associate Editor of the International Journal of Information Systems and Supply Chain Management, a Member of the Editorial Advisory Board of the Advances in Information Systems and Supply Chain Management (Book Series) and on the editorial board of fifteen international journals in the field of Supply chain and Operations Management. He has published over 230 research papers in international journals and conferences.

Professor Rahman is frequently called upon to deliver presentations for various professional bodies and senior executives on issues relating to strategy and policy innovation in supply chain sustainability and circular economy, and talent development in supply chain industry.
