Sharolyn Kay Dihigo

Sharolyn K. Dihigo, DNP, RN, CPNP-PC is a Clinical Assistant Professor, Director of the DNP Program, and Lead Teacher for the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program (PNP) in the Graduate College of Nursing. She has been a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP) since 1996 and has held a teaching appointment at UTA since 2001.

Dr. Dihigo graduated with her master’s degree in 1996 as a Dual Role Masters in Nursing Education and Advanced Nursing Practice (PNP) from UTA, and is also a 2011 Doctor of Nursing practice graduate from the DNP program at UTA. She holds an additional certification as a KySS Fellow (Keeping Your Kids Safe and Secure Child and Adolescent Mental Health Fellowship) from the joint effort from National NAPNAP and Arizona State University.

Dr. Dihigo has taught in the primary care pediatric nurse practitioner program since 2006, began teaching in the DNP Program in 2012, and now serves as the DIrector DNP Program.
