Sharon Engbrecht

Sharon is currently a PhD Candidate in UBC's Department of English Language and Literatures. They research contemporary British and Canadian novels, authored by women, that focus their critiques on the development of genders and sexualities through romantic scripting. Their research also investigates the complex relationship women have to their bodies, especially around reproduction, health care, and technologies.
