Sharon specializes in interdisciplinary research in development in nutrition-sensitive fish agri-food systems. She is currently a PhD candidate studying fish trade networks in Indonesia within the Innovative Knowledge About Networks- Fish For Food (IKAN-F3) project through the University of Amsterdam. Prior to this, she served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in rural Senegal, after which she completed her masters in Globalization and Development at the Institute of Development Studies at the University of Sussex and spent over six years working with WorldFish.
