My current PhD research focuses on sexual harassment on the London
Underground and its impact on women's urban mobilities.
Coming from a feminist, urban sociological perspective, I have used in-depth interviews and ethnographic methods to explore how sexual harassment manifests itself on public transport, and how these incidents impact the women who experience them.
In October 2016 I worked on the BBC 100 women campaign to explore ways to combat sexual harassment on public transport.
I have a background in Gender and Sexuality, obtaining my MSc from Amsterdam University. My research focused on British Lad Culture in Amsterdam's Red Light District.
