Sil Lanckriet

Sil Lanckriet worked since 2012 at the Department of Geography, as a researcher at the Special Research Fund of Ghent University. His research focuses on the relation between climate changes and land degradation, with specific attention to environmental changes on longer timescales (Late Holocene) in the Horn of Africa. Since 2016, he is administrator of EthioTrees awlp, an environmental assocation active in reforestation.
