Assistant Professor of Marketing, Farmer School of Business, Miami University

In May 2017, I joined the Farmer School of Business at Miami University as Assistant Professor of Marketing. During my career, I have led projects that have broadened dialogue between architectural and marketing researchers and practitioners and has helped better understand how design impacts users' risk-taking behavior, purchase decisions, eating behavior, and even their engagement in collaborative innovation.

Prior to my current role, I served as Co-Founder & CEO at an evidence-based design consulting firm. I have also worked as a Research & Development Associate and Consultant at the Walt Disney Company and Carnegie Mellon University. I also recently worked for the University of California San Francisco on issues related to design and organizational behavior.

I received PhDs in both Marketing and Architecture from the University of Michigan in 2017. Prior to that, I completed a Master of Science in Architecture (Design Studies) with a minor in psychology at the University of Michigan, and a Bachelors in Architectural Engineering at Shahid Beheshti University.
