Senior Lecturer in Computer Science, School of EECMS, Curtin University

Dr Sonny Pham received the PhD degree from Curtin University in 2005. He is currently a Senior Lecturer in Computer Science at Curtin University, Perth, Western Australia. His current research interests include image processing, computer vision, data mining, statistical machine learning theory, and cyber security. He is a recipient of the Young Author Best Paper Award 2010 for a publication in IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing. He is a co-inventor of an international patent on video surveillance technology. He also won Curtin Innovation Award 2017 for an innovation in cyber security with his team.
