Sophie Medlin

Sophie is an experienced clinical dietitian, having worked in the NHS for many years specialising in surgical gastroenterology and intestinal failure. Sophie moved from clinical dietetics to academia in 2014 and pursues research interests in colorectal and gastrointestinal disorders.

Sophie maintains her clinical practice as a Freelance Dietitian in London where she supports her clients to adapt their diet to their individual needs such as managing weight problems or controlling gastrointestinal problems.

Sophie is passionate about improving the availability and visibility of evidence based nutritional information online and has an active and interactive blog covering current nutritional news and investigating claims or questions from followers.
