I am interested in investigating how nanoscale thermal fluctuations affect the dynamics of various processes that involve either emergence of a new interface or the destruction of an existing one. Nucleation of ice in supercooled water is an example of the former, and it is my current area of research as a part of my Leverhulme Early Career Fellowship at the University of Warwick. Previously, I investigated how fluctuations enhanced droplet coalescence, where the total interfacial area decreases over time. I use either molecular simulations or fluctuating hydrodynamics to explore unmapped territories of interfacial phenomena.
