Stephanos Anastasiadis

Professor at the Police Academy, Police Academy of Lower Saxony

I am Professor at the Police Academy of Lower Saxony (Polizeiakademie Niedersachsen), where I teach social sciences and management. Before starting my present role, I was a Senior Lecturer in Sustainability at Royal Holloway, University of London. My research interests centre on the responsible use of organisational power, calling, organisational learning, pedagogy, and organisational approaches to sustainability. I am currently undertaking a longitudinal study of knowledge transfer and institutional memory in the police. My work has appeared in such journals as Work, Employment and Society; British Journal of Management; Business and Society; Journal of Management Inquiry; and Business Ethics: A European Review. Before returning to university for my doctorate, I worked for several years in Brussels, as an environmental lobbyist in the European Union policymaking environment.
