Stephen Hincks

I'm a Reader in Urban Studies and Planning at the University of Sheffield. My research lies within the broad scope of urban and regional studies, focusing on GIS and spatial analysis, housing and neighbourhoods and urban-regional policy and planning. I hold a PhD in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Liverpool, an MA from The University of Sheffield and a BA (Hons) from the University of Liverpool. I have undertaken research funded by national and local government in the UK, charities, the British Academy, the Economic and Social Research Council, and the European Commission.
