Stephen Parker is an Honorary Professorial Fellow at the Melbourne Centre for the Study of Higher Education, University of Melbourne and an Emeritus Professor at the University of Canberra. He is currently a Principal with the Higher Education and Research Group. His previous positions include Global Lead for Education at KPMG, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Canberra, Dean of Law and then Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor at Monash University. His research interests include legal ethics, law reform, civil procedure, contract law and family law; and he writes generally on education and its future.
