Steve Thomas

A political scientist by background, I am currently studying towards my PhD in public policy at The Australian National University's Crawford School of Public Policy, evaluating the impact of New Zealand educational entrepreneurs, as a kind of social entrepreneurship.

I have also worked for a decade in New Zealand public policy, specialising in the areas of education, taxation and economic issues, representation and political theory.

I am passionate about seeing the ideas and findings of high quality research debated and turned into good public policy and law.
