Mr Edwards holds a master’s in evidence-based health-care from Oxford University and a master's degree in podiatric medicine from Queen Margaret University.  His research interests involve foot & ankle surgery and various areas of podiatric medicine. He is a reviewer for the journals Foot & Ankle Specialist, Foot & Ankle Surgery: Techniques, Reports & Cases, the Journal of Foot & Ankle Surgery, the Journal of the American Podiatric Medical Association, Case reports in Plastic Surgery and Hand Surgery, and Postgraduate Medicine.
