Associate Professor, School of Education and Professional Studies, Griffith University

Stuart Woodcock is an Associate Professor in Inclusive and Special Education within Griffith University’s School of Educational and Professional Studies. He was also trained as a teacher and has worked across primary and secondary schools in England, Canada, and Australia in both mainstream and special education settings.

A/Prof Woodcock brings to the network expertise in inclusive education, with research experience in the areas of inclusion, special education, and behaviour support. Most recently, he has been working to develop a measure of self-efficacy of teachers working in inclusive settings in order to help support educators to become more inclusive.

He is interested in cross-disciplinary collaborations, and projects that focus on inclusion of all children and adolescents but particularly those with special needs and/or disabilities.
