Susan Bradley Smith

Since beginning my professional writing life as a rock journalist in Sydney and London in the 1980s my work always been concerned with the Arts and social transformation. A cultural historian by training, I specialise in women's theatre and literary history. As a creative writer I largely publish poetry and autoethnography with a feminist agenda. The founder of the writing and wellbeing consultancy Milkwood Bibliotherapy, I'm also an advocate for Arts and Health, and the Medical Humanities. I work at Curtin University, Australia, where I am Associate Professor in Creative Writing, and as Visiting Professor (Poetry) at John Cabot University, Rome.
