Senior Lecturer, Law, University of Adelaide

Dr Suzanne Le Mire is a senior lecturer at the Adelaide Law School, University of Adelaide. Prior to moving to academia, Suzanne practiced law at Adelaide Law firm, Piper Alderman. She previously taught in the Faculty of Law at Monash University. Suzanne teaches corporate law, corporate governance and legal ethics. She is currently supervising a number of PhD and masters students in these fields.

She has written widely on corporate governance and lawyers’ ethics for highly regarded national, and international, journals. Suzanne has a particular interest in the roles and regulation of board members and lawyers.

Suzanne is on the executive of the Corporate Law Teachers Association, and the editor of ‘Reports, Comments and Notes’ for the UK journal, Legal Ethics. She is the legal member of the University of Adelaide’s Human Research Ethics Committee, and a member of the South Australian Judicial Development Committee.
