Sven Steinmo

Professor Steinmo teaches politics economy at the University of Colorado, Boulder. He recently returned to Colorado where he began his academic career in 1987.

Over the past 10 years he was the Robert Schuman Professor at the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence, Italy as well as a Senior Research Fellow at Nuffield College, Oxford University.

For the past five years professor Steinmo has been working on a 2.5 million euro research grant, “Willing To Pay? Testing Historical Theory with Experiments” funded by the European Research Council.
