Dr Tamika Worrell is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Critical Indigenous Studies at Macquarie University. Tamika's family is from Gamilaroi Country, she has been grown up by Dharug Ngurra (Country) Western Sydney since birth. She has recently completed her PhD thesis "Prioritising Blak Voices: Representing Indigenous Perspectives in NSW English Classrooms" which was awarded the Vice Chancellor's Commendation. This thesis continued her work in representation, secondary schooling and Indigenous education.
