Thanos Goulas

Thanos holds a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of West Attica in Greece, a MSc in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering and Management and a PhD in Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering from Loughborough University in the United Kingdom. He is an expert in laser additive manufacturing of extra-terrestrial materials, Lunar/Martian natural resources and in-situ resource utilisation.

His current post-doctoral research focuses on the additive manufacture of metamaterial structures for RF/microwave and high frequency applications, novel electroceramics, combined single-process manufacture of metals and ceramics, materials and process development and their characterisation.
