Theresa Sauter is an academic researcher at Queensland University of Technology and the University of Queensland. At QUT she contributes to research in the ARC Centre of Excellence for Creative Industries and Innovation (CCi). At UQ she is involved in an ARC funded project on Governing Performance in Australian social policy. Her research interests include social media, digital sociology, processes of self-formation, governmentality and controversy mapping. She is a member of The Australian Sociological Association and The Association of Internet Researchers.
