Therese M. Cumming

Dr Terry Cumming is a Senior Lecturer in Special Education in the School of Education at the University of New South Wales. Her research interests include: students with emotional and behavioural disorders, social skills training, positive behavioural interventions, the use of technology in the classroom, and life transitions for people with disabilities. As part of the School of Education's Special and Inclusive Education Research Group (SIERG), Terry's research is focused on life transitions for people with disabilities, positive behaviour support, and using iPads to support individuals with disabilities.

Her publications include a forthcoming co-authored book, book chapters, journal articles and national and international conference papers. Prior to her university and research work, Dr. Cumming has many years experience as a special educator and behaviour mentor in the United States.
