Thomas L. Cherpes

Thomas L. Cherpes, DVM, MD, Associate Professor, received a DVM from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a MD from Wake Forest University. He conducts basic, translational, and clinical research studies that explores host defense against microbial pathogens in the female genital tract, with a focus on interactions between HPO axis function, genital epithelial barrier protection, and susceptibility to genital infection.
