Post-Doctoral Researcher on Central African Development, Université de Liège

Thomas McNamara is a post-doctoral anthropologist on a European Research Council Project at the University of Leige in Belgium (http://www.workinmining.ulg.ac.be/), who will be taking up a lecturing role at La Trobe University in July. His primary research interests are adaptations and utilisations of western institutions and structures of governance, and how international economies are shaped by affective relationships and moral norms and he has worked in Malawi and Zambia.
