Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Genetics, The University of Queensland

Tim completed his BSc (hons) at the University of Western Australia and the Western Australian Institute for Medical Research. He completed his PhD in the Mattick laboratory in 2008 with the thesis topic "The expression of long noncoding RNAs in development and differentiation".
His major research interests are with the annotation and functional characterization of long noncoding RNAs and their contribution towards disease aetiology.
