Tim Thompson

Timothy Neal Thompson, Ph.D. is a professor of Communication Studies, director of the Edinboro Highland Games, and co-coordinator of Scotland Study Abroad at Edinboro University. He teaches organizational communication, conflict management, consulting, and communication & social influence. His research interests are currently in creativity and organizational mindfulness, and his book, "Making Your Mind: Communication & Social Influence," is just published. He completed his doctorate in organizational communication and innovation from Bowling Green State University in 1986. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Tim and his wife Dee Dee now reside in Edinboro, Pennsylvania where they raised their five children.
