Tom Reid

I am currently employed as Academic Skills Course Leader at the University of Bath, and I have worked here since 2003.

Over the last 25 years, I have directed, designed, delivered a range of tailor-made Pre-sessional English and Academic Skills courses for UG, PG and Research students across a variety of disciplines including; Management, Engineering, Arts and Humanities. I have taught at Universities of Kent (Cantab) and Bath Spa, and worked as Director of English for a major Bank in Spain. I am a published English language author, and I am also an award-nominated novelist.

My research interests include student responses to tutor feedback, e-learning and blended learning, and tracking student performance, from pre-sessional to post-qualification employment.
