Tracey Holmes

Tracey Holmes is a Professorial Fellow in Sport and brings with her a wealth of experience and knowledge from the sports and journalism industries.

In 2021, Tracey was awarded the Women and Sports Award from the International Olympic Committee for her contribution to reporting on women’s sport, and her work providing mentorship for the next generation of female sporting journalists.

In 2023 received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Australian Sports Commission.

Tracey is a freelance journalist and host of The Sports Ambassador podcast focussed on governance, integrity and equality.

Tracey’s work across Australia, and internationally, makes her one of the most recognised and listened to voices in the sports sphere where she is also an experienced board member and has worked in sports administration.
