Tracy Briggs

I am a medical doctor and a university researcher, specialising in Genetic Medicine. Out of work I am a mother of a teenager. Both my teenager and I suffer from Long Covid and have done so since contracting Covid at the start of the pandemic in 2020. Whilst suffering from Long Covid and I have taken part in research and advocacy roles, including for the World Health Organisation, trying to improve knowledge about the condition and promote increased research to drive forward understanding and move towards treatments.
