I am a full-time lecturer at the University of Canterbury in the College of Education, Health and Human Development. I have been a Health and Physical Education teacher, a Family Planning educator, and currently coordinate the Bachelor of Health Sciences degree at the University of Canterbury. My area of passion is in Health Education, particularly socio-critical approaches to sexuality education and discourses of parental involvement. My current research involves exploring parental understandings and experiences of sexuality education with their children.
