Tyler Jensen

Dr. Jensen conducts research on funding conditions, voluntary disclosures and their impact on market participants. His research has been published in the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Contemporary Accounting Research, Journal of Corporate Finance and Journal of Banking and Finance, among others.

He also serves as advisor for several student organizations and inter-collegiate finance competition teams at Iowa State. In an effort to diversify student participation in these finance extra-curricular activities, Dr. Jensen has launched a recent research effort to study why certain demographics are under-represented in finance. By bringing empirical data to this important issue, he hopes that future efforts to recruit broader pools of finance students will be better informed and more successful.
