Postdoctoral Fellow in Psychology, Northwestern University

Dr. Moffitt takes a sociohistorical lens to identity development, examining the reciprocal relations between individuals and their environments. Her doctoral research focused primarily on the construction of national identity in relation to processes of racialization and belonging in Germany. Her current work focuses on contextual racial identity development, primarily among White children and young adults in the United States.
