Valentina Feklyunina

Valentina holds a PhD in Politics from the University of Glasgow (2010).

Her research interests include: Identity and foreign policy; identity and soft power; Russian foreign policy; Russian public diplomacy; Russia's energy policy; identities and foreign policy preferences in Belarus and Ukraine.

She teaches both international and Russian politics and is the co-convenor of the BISA Working Group on Russian and Eurasian Security (with Dr Natasha Kuhrt, King's College London). She is also associate editor of Politics (a PSA journal published by Wiley Blackwell).
