Valerie van Mulukom

Assistant Professor in Cognitive Science, Coventry University

Dr Valerie van Mulukom is an Assistant Professor at Coventry University (UK) and a Research Associate at the University of Oxford (UK). Her research centres on the cognitive and evolutionary science of belief, imagination, and social bonding, and uses methods from experimental, social, and evolutionary psychology.

She received a PhD in the cognitive neuroscience of imagination at the University of Auckland, New Zealand, after which she held postdoctoral positions at Aarhus University and the University of Oxford, before joining the Brain, Belief, and Behaviour Lab at Coventry University.
