Vanessa Couldridge

Dr Vanessa Couldridge is a senior lecturer and researcher in the Department of Biodiversity and Conservation Biology at the University of the Western Cape. Her research focuses on animal behaviour, with a particular interest in bioacoustics and the factors that drive variation in sound signals and signalling behaviour, and the use of bioacoustic monitoring as a conservation tool. She works mainly on insects as study organisms.
