Vassilis Kostakos

Professor of Human Computer Interaction, The University of Melbourne

Vassilis Kostakos is a Professor in the School of Computing and Information Systems at the University of Melbourne. His research interests include Human-Computer Interaction, Ubiquitous Computing, Social Computing, and the Internet of Things. He has been an Marie Curie Fellow, and a Fellow of the Academy of Finland Distinguished Professor Program. His work aims to make technology smarter, to make it understand humans behaviour, and to respond to humans in more appropriate ways.
