Veldon Coburn is a PhD candidate at Queen’s University’s political studies department, studying Indigenous identity, policy and politics, and teaches Indigenous Studies at Carleton University's School of Indigenous and Canadian Studies. Prior to arriving at Carleton, Veldon taught Indigenous issues at McGill University. Veldon is Anishinaabe from Pikwàkanagàn.
