Reader in Discourse Studies, Lancaster University

Veronika Koller is interested in how people use language in political and business settings. Her previous work includes research on politicians' use of metaphor and on corporate branding.

Veronika's recent publications include the textbook Language in Business, Language at Work (with Erika Darics, 2018) and she is lead editor for the book Discourses of Brexit, which was published with Routledge in March 2019. It contains 13 chapters, plus introduction and outlook, on how politicians, citizens and the media talked about Brexit before and after the referendum.

Next to her academic work, Veronika also works as a senior associate analyst for the agency Linguistic Landscapes.
