Victoria Calzolari Soto

Ph.D. Candidate, Social Sciences, Deutsche Sporthochschule Koln

Victória Soto will be the sports partnership manager. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Social Science at the German Sport University Cologne, specifically in the context of Sport for Development (S4D). She holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and a master’s in International Sport Development and Politics. She is also a certified Sports Manager by the International Coaching Courses (ITK). Her involvement with sports dates to her teenage years, when she was state champion in open water swimming. Her language skills - Portuguese, English, Spanish, Japanese and German - allowed her to work with several sports-related projects of different organizations, such as the German International Development Cooperation Agency (GIZ), the Foundation of the International Basketball Federation and the International Council of Sport Science and Physical Education (ICSSPE).
