Trained in applied ethics and qualitative participatory design methods. Lead of the Integrated Mental Health Research Program. Research interests in the ethics of predicting risk, participatory health, digital health ethics and physical and mental health integration, narrative and recovey. Led a large scale quality improvement trial using an experience based co-design method for people living with severe mental illnesses and their carers. Currently leading a trial to reduce cardiovascular risk in people with severe mental illness, The Assertive Cardiac Care Trial.
